Having personally struggled with sleep at various times in my life, and been told of similar issues by my friends and family, Share Your Sleep Story’s premise that everyone has a sleep story to tell particularly resonated with me.  When I was first introduced to the initiative by our founder, Madhura, I couldn’t help but notice the English-only stories and think there was an obvious, easy way they could reach more people.  Since I have taken upon myself to translate the initiative’s existing stories to French, I was offered a place in our growing team and I have found great satisfaction in accurately translating our storytellers’ lived experience between English and French, and in providing the final editor’s touch to give Share Your Sleep Story the professional look it deserves.
